More Information: It depends on where you are experiencing this problem. Most times, i find my patients have peeling around the incision site where surgical glue has been applied. This is actually the glue that is peeling off, and not the skin. Other times, the skin is peeling due to a reaction to the tape. Removing the tape and keeping the area clean and dry will help. Please see your surgeon as soon as possible.

Peeling: Sometimes it is just the top layer near the incision that peels away as the skin heals . This does not happen to all my patents , but when it has nothing has been wrong such as infection , suture spit or abscess, inflammation etc.
