Local or systemic: You may have a localized or systemic problem... I would suggest seeing a dentist to determine why your gums are bright red.. Then a solution can be offered..

Check w your dentist: Your gums can be an indication of a systemic problem if there are no signs of gingivitis. After a thorough exam they might need to refer you to an internal medicine doctor for a work up.. I hope this helps.
