Variable: The surgical time varies based on type of carpal tunnel release, which thumb joint is being fused, implants being used and of course how fast the surgeon works. But i always stress to patients just because one surgeon takes longer than another really doesn't matter. The key is quality of work and you being comfortable with your surgeon.
