If infected: Neosporin contains 2 antibiotics; neomycin and polymixin b and some contain bacitracin. This products can help with minor skin infections including those caused by an insect bite. Be cautious with use as neomycin is a common cause of allergic contact dermatitis and Bacitracin can cause allergic reactions.
