Maybe.: If you feel comfortable with your initial evaluation and are confident that you have selected a qualified and caring surgeon, then one opinion may suffice. If you are not sure, a second opinion can never hurt. Your physician should ideally be a board certified or board eligible plastic surgeon.

May be good idea: Getting second opinions are often helpful to gather broad information and details, plus gives you a chance to get comfortable with the practice that provides good, understandable, and useful answers. Your confidence in having seen more than one physician is important. Surgeons have different backgrounds, opinions, and skill level. Communication is very important in helping you decide.

Youre free to ask as: Manyas many as you like, however it's not a good idea to "doctor shop" until & in order to get the answer you want. On the other hand, a second opinion is usually a good thing.

I agree!: If you want to get a consensus answer certainly ask a few doctors. But i agree that searching for the answer you want may not get you the best care.

Couldn't hurt: Obtaining more than one surgeon's opinion can be helpful in difficult or unusual cases, or if the first sugeon's opinion does not make sense to you. Good luck!

That depends: You should consult a board certified plastic surgeon regarding your questions. If you are not sure that you are totally confident in the answers you receive, or you just want to verify what you have heard see another bc ps. Keep in mind that there is often more than one way to accomplish the same end, and that just because you get different approaches, they are not necessarily right or wrong.

More opinions: It can be helpful to get more than one opinion. Fat transfer is less predictabe than most plastic surgery, so be certain to ask specific questio about where fat is taken from , how it is treated, where is is placed and what happens if the volume is too little, too bog or irregular.

Sure: If you are uncomfortable with the first consult seek another. The more you learn the better you are. It is important to have confidence in the doctor you choose and it is nice to get a referral as well. Write down your questions so you do not forget them once you are in the consultation.
