My doc put me on risperdal. I have epilepsy(absence seizures). Is it still ok to take it?

Im officially off of Ativan after 20 years. My doctor said to take CBD for my anxiety. How in the world would I know if I could have a seizure? I didnt have them before but its a major concern. 20 year is a LONG time. Im nervous?
