Toothpaste: No, however prescription toothpaste usually has a higher Fluoride content to prevent decay and tarter build up. Perhaps you should rethink filling the prescription if you fall into either category.

Not really...: There is no practical way of keeping track of this... The pharmacy and patient do not let us know the prescription has not been filled. The prescription is in hopes of preventing tooth decay, so it could be figured out if you show up with either cavities or sensitivity at your next visit.
