Toothpaste with fluo: There are many effective toothpastes so far crest pro health, colgate total and listerine are effective for teeth and gums there are many others that you may like the taste of and if they have good Fluoride levels they work fine.

Fluoride is needed: There is no top toothpaste; each dentist has his own preference, but as long as it has fluoride, it's a good fluoride. Some toothpastes are specifically for dry mouth or sensitive teeth, so dentists prescribed specific toothpastes for certain conditions.
