Psychosis: He is on some very potent medications. Some of these can be addictive. If this is the first time he has been psychotic i recommend he brought to the emergency room for evaluation.

Dangerous: There might be a very good reason for the prescribing of these medications but if this was the first visit to the doctor, hopefully a psychiatrist, and they prescribed all of this, then it seems inappropriate. Sounds like you might need to get the authorities involved or at least start by getting all of the doctors taking care of your "adult drug addict son" on the same page.

Save his life: Call 911 and request help. While you cannot force him to get help, police officers can assess him. If they find him at risk for imminent harm due to a psychiatric or medical problem impairing his judgment, they may choose to transport him to an emergency room for assessment. Best wishes. You are allowed certainly to report the prescribing doctor to your state board.
