Why don't medicines work on me? i've taken medicines such as vicodin, xanax (alprazolam) and adderall and advil but it doesn't work. nothing has ever worked on me.

Not sure: I'm sorry, but i'm not sure how to understand your comment. When you take these medicines, what are you wanting them to do, that you say "it doesn't work" when you take them? These are all different medicines, which could be prescribed or taken for various, possibly unrelated, conditions. Different people might experience different effects with them. Can you please tell us more what you mean?

You are refractory: May just be a matter of using smaller doses and slow titration.
