Of course.: You got the root canal therapy and the crown to save the tooth. You saved the tooth to use the tooth. Ask your own dentist regarding any precautions.

Absolutely: That is the purpose of having a root canal done, to save the tooth, for it to be used. Be careful though, never use your teeth as "tools" as root canal teeth are more brittle and can break.
