Yes & no: The dentist is finished, but you need to floss and brush properly every day to protect it and keep other teeth from needing similar treatment. Have your dentist or hygienist give you specific help in preventing further problems. Today decay can be almost 100% prevented.

Yes: Once the permanent crown is cemented or bonded in place the treatment is complete.
