A member asked:

I wanted to know when you have a seizure, concussion, etc why can't you remember what happened?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Suppression of brain: Any episode of altered consciousness, either spontaneous or caused by trauma will result in transient suppression of brain neuronal function, and lack of external awareness of events. Actually memory may be lost prior to and following such an event, anterograde and retrograde amnesia.
