Not likely: Possible relationship to trauma but have a check up by a neurologist.

See your doctor: Seizure development would be unrelated to a remote concussion 8-9yrs earlier. Developing seizures warrants additional evaluation to identify any possible underlying causes. You should see a neurologist to coordinate additional testing and initiation of treatment to prevent continued seizures, as the more seizures you have the harder they become to prevent. Good luck!
