Healers: Ideally should all be holistic. That is they should be able to know you as a full person, not see and treat you as an object. You know are with a good healer if you feel strengthened by them, not diminished. Healers can be mds, nurses, psychotherapists, body workers, counselors, clergy, naturopaths, doctors of chinese medicine, etc. Healers have different areas of expertise.

Treats the whole pt : Holistic implies that the complete individual is treated, not just the disease. That is, the stress, living situation, nutrition etc are taken into consideration when treating , say, the flu. This can be a good thing.
