Acid reflux: Avoid fried food, and greasy food, meaning no fast food or junk food. Avoid carbonated drinks, caffeinated products, acidic foods such as juices and tomato sauce based foods. Eat grilled or baked food, lots of vegetables and fruits. Plenty water. No smoking either.

Some ideas: Reflux:avoid coffee, tea ( regular and decaffeinated) caffeine, carbonation, alcohol, citrus, chocolate, mint , fat, spice, onions, garlic. . Load up on fiber-packed fruits, veggies, nuts, and whole grains. Ginger and fennel helpful.How you prepare your food counts, too. Instead of frying meals, try roasting, grilling, or poaching. Use extra-virgin olive oil instead of butter or margarine.
