A couple days ago inthiughtbjnwas having acid reflux. now i think i am feeling full faster, with like heaviness at the very top of my abdomen, but i was worried it would happen before i ate. how do i know if my symptom is real or in my head?

GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) does not make you feel early fullness with meal or heaviness in the epigastric area. Those symptoms are more common with acute gastritis (caused by food poisoning, viral or bacterial infection). Symptoms of acute gastritis are usually self limited, quick relief with antacid. GERD sx are usually precipitated by flat supine position right after a full meal.
