A member asked:

I had a negative hiv antibody test at 6weeks post high exposure and now tested negative at 13 weeks. 6months is gold but how accurate is it at 13weeks?

HIV testing: I am sorry to report but whoever is testing you is not providing you the best or most accurate test in this situation. There is a test called the HIV viral RNA or dna test. This is 100% accurate from day 21 post exposure. You are not golden with the old antibody test till six months.
