A member asked:

What if i'm having haemoglobin 8.2, doctor suggested to have blood infusion before the kidney operation tomorrow morning?

Do it: Your anemia is serious and a cause needs to be found. It's your physician's call as to whether to transfuse you before your kidney surgery. Blood component therapy today is safer than highway travel -- not risk-free, and not to be undertaken lightly, but in this case probably indicated.

Good idea : If you want to heal and you want to have some reserve for the surgery , you need a blood transfusion.
