T.O.S.: Aching shoulder pain, numb fingers, global arm numbness awakening from sleep, ; "shoulder knot", likely a loci of muscle spasm, all suggestive of thoracic outlet syndrome. Diagnosis is best made by osteopath or physiatrist. In my opinion, many neurologist doubt that it exists; so do not rely on them. Vascular surgeons know how to diagnose.
