Some ideas: Turn to trusted friends--maybe even one you haven't talked to in a long time and rekindle those relationships keep up with social activities even when you don't feel like it. When you are depressed, staying alone or in your shell is appealing. Fight that tendency and go to events with others. Fight against negative thoughts about your self, others and the future join a support group for depr.
