Irregular menses: Irregular menses are common in young women, often caused by anovulatory cycles. Regular menses changing to irregular may be due to emotional stress or physical conditions such as thyroid disease, rapid change in weight, pregnancy, etc. If you engage in unprotected sex, take a home pregnancy test.
