Othersuccess?: Are other treatments also effective for awhile? In any case, if there are no negatives it's not a bad idea to use it - perhaps the folk who offer the service can suggest diet/behavioral ways to extend the benefits beyond a week. A combo of meditation, yoga, therapy, etc. may be possible. Why question success?

Cognitive behavioral: therapy can be helpful. A book called "Feeling Good" by David Burns is good. Please see a clinical psychologist who does CBT. Peace and good health. How is your exercise level and food intake? There are factors also.
