Improvement in pain: The cortisone should help decrease swelling an inflammation in your wrist. Typically it takes about 3-4 days for the cortisone to take effect, but it can take 2-3 weeks.

Depends: You can expect no change, resolution of cyst or possible recurrence or increase in cyst.
