Ganglion cysts: If they are true ganglion cysts do not respond to cortisone and never completely go away by themselves . They might get smaller for a while but will come back. The only definitive treatment is surgical removal

Speak to the doctor: If it is ganglion cyst of foot , will not get better with out treatment , steroid injection is usually not a preferred method, surgical excision will cure it. Speak to your doctor , if does not do surgery see a dpm or ortho surgeon.
