Hello, i have a volar ganglion cyst. my ortho won't aspirate or go in because it's near the radial artery. i've had it 10 years. seemed like it went away and returned. is this permanent at this point? i don't want more cortisone. i've had it twice?

A volar ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled sac that develops near the wrist joint; usually painless, can cause discomfort if it presses on a nerve. Aspiration, which involves draining the fluid from the cyst with a needle, is a common option. However, in some cases, the cyst may be located near important structures like the radial artery, making aspiration risky. In your case, take doctors advice.
