It probably is: It probably is due to the injections, sometimes the needle can "hit" a blood vessel and this can cause bruising, it's common and normal for this to happen, also, cortisone can have effects on the skin such as bruising, peeling or color loss. But you should keep an eye on the bruise, in case you notice anything suspicious or pain you can always ask again, or visit your physician.
