Bipolar mania: Almost always requires medication. Talk to a psychiatrist to get the right prescription. Then learn behavioral and life style skills to keep yourself on the right track. Those could be learned from the psychiatrist, if the person does therapy, or from another mental health professional who treats bipolar disorder. It can really help to have ongoing professional support.
