Not sure what you : Mean, however, i think that working through your ptsd will help you be aware of what happened and if possible prevent similar events from happening with your children. I have worked with survivors of sexual abuse and they do make significantly better decisions in choosing spouses and in parenting their children after working through their issues in therapy.

If you were a trauma: Victim - then being proactive ; safeguarding yourself is a positive step in caring for yourself to include your ptsd.
