Oragel or Tylenol (acetaminophen): Tylenol (acetaminophen) is generally considered safe in pregnancy. Oragel would be ok as well.

Try to Keep: The gum tissues as clean as you can around your tooth. The pain is most likely coming from those tissues and not the tooth. Warm salt water rinse or prescription rinse from your dentist should help. Your obstetrician may also approve antibiotic for you if necessary. Let a dentist check it out. Good luck!

See your dentist: It's always best to see a dentist in these cases in order to determine the best way to deal with such issues. This is even more important when you are pregnant. Start with an evaluation. Then discuss palliative treatment and options. If necessary, your dentist can consult with your obstetrician. You don't want bigger unexpected problems to arise. Best to know the facts and take it from there.
