Pain: In Canada you can ask the pharmacist for Tylenol (acetaminophen) #1 which will help the pain. Make sure you are taking antibiotics. Use compresses. Fell better soon.

Tylenol (acetaminophen) or NSAID OTC: In the mean time you can take temporary pain relievers. A good option is to combine over the counter Advil 400mg and over the counter extra strength Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500 mg.

No good answer: OTC nsaids such as ibuprofen/advil/motrin may help take the edge off when taken exactly as per package instructions. But really nothing is going to affect a "cure" besides hands-on dental treatment. Call the Dentist, explain your problem, see if an arrangement can be worked out.
