How to walk after tibia plateau fracture fixed with plate?

Tibial plateau: You will usually walk with crutches with no weight on the leg until the fracture heals which can take 6 weeks.

Ask ur OrthopedicDoc: This question should've been addressed by your orthopedic surgeon who operated on you. As part of your hospital discharge instructions, indeed, as part of post-op recovery, physical therapist should have evaluated you & taught you how to walk (presumably w/crutches), how much weight you can bear (if any), etc. Of course, once healed, walk however you want to walk!
