i had a commuted fracture of upper end tibia left and had surgery fr the same with one plate and 6 screws to fix the fracture. its been 3 mon nw.. hw long will it take to heal fully ? will i be able to walk lyk i used to and wear heels??

Tibial plateau: Assuming u had an ORIF of your tibial plateau fx it takes on average 8-12 weeks for the fx to heal.May take longer to fully ‘recover’. Smokers take longer to heal fxs.Xrays would be very helpful here...yes u should eventually be able to wear heels again— though it may be some time for this! Best of luck!
