Eyes: It sounds like you need a diagnostic workup. It could range anything from constant eye strain from looking at computers etc, could be you have glasses, could be you have sensitive capillaries, worse case scenario could be glaucoma or another serious condition. Best to go to er and have an opthal md evaluate you asap.

So many causes: There are so many causes of red eye that they could not even be listed here. An eye exam can help to determine the cause, but some people have enlarged vessels in and under the conjunctiva (the lining on the white of the eye) normally. Dry eye, allergy, blepharitis (eyelid infection), exposure to airborne irritants (dusty environment) are common causes. Avoid otc "get the red out" drops - toxic!
