May: If the mask is too tight fit or the person has an allergic reaction to the the mask material. Please make sure that the fit is right. Cotton mask are less allergenic.

No: If the mask fits well and is comfortable, your lids will be closed underneath and eye redness will not be caused by the mask. If you find redness to be common, check with your ophthalmologist for the cause.
