Problem: That means the tubes were blocked at the beginning. Sometimes this actually means that the tubes got irritated or spasms and the tubes were actually ok. The hsg would not clear this. So the options would be to repeat the hsg, perform surgery or do ivf.

Maybe: It sounds like the hsg test showed that your tubes are blocked. Fertilization (egg and sperm coming together) happens in the tubes, so if they are blocked - this could definitely be a cause for infertility. You should seek medical advice from a reproductive endocrinologist.
