A member asked:

In bilateral proximal obstruction is it the sperms tat doesn't meet the egg or is it the egg doesn't come into the tube for fertilization?

Blocked: If the tube is blocked then the egg can't get through nor can the sperm, if partially blocked sperm can get through but not egg increasing risk of ectopic pregnancy.

Fallopian blockages: Why? It is both. If an egg cannot pass one way and a sperm cannot pass the other way that is the definition of fallopian tube blockages.
