If you don't have stones in your gallbladder and your gallbladder function on hida scan is good, i would strongly recommend not to rush to have it removed. If you have stones or it's not functioning well and you're having pain, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, then it can be considered. Usually a safe surgery, but no 100% guarantee - things happen!
