See answer: Psa is an enzyme normally produced in every man's prostate gland. Psa is most commonly elevated in 3 different prostate conditions: hence its name, "prostate-specific antigen." these prostate conditions are prostate enlargement, prostate cancer, and prostate infection or inflammation all of which may or may not be associated with symptoms.
