You're close: The endocrine society (the organization of thryoid specialists) in their last paper on thyroid and pregnancy, recommended pregnant women keep TSH less than 2.5. You're close with a TSH of 5.52, but would maybe ask if you shouldn't go up to 125mcg? It's definitely "safe", in fact, it's essential to properly treat hypothyroidism in pregnancy. Also, doses often need increase as pregnancy progress.

Thyroid pregnancy: Hypothyroidism during pregnancy should be treated by endocrinologist it is best controlled by adjusting dose with free T4 levels it would seem u need a higher dose and may need further adjustment as pregnancy advances.

You definitely: Need to increase the dose and normalize your levels. They can change frequently during pregnancy and need to be followed closely. The levels will be more stable if you're on brand name T4 replacement for consistency. Don't worry, your fetus is already making it's own thyroid hormone and not dependent upon your levels.
