A member asked:

I'm 6 months pregnant and my total t4 is 0.38. i read normal tt4 starts from 0.64. what does my level means? is it dangerous? my tsh is okay (3.54) and i'm on levothyroxine but want to make sure my total total t4 is fine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

TSH is better marker for thyroid function than total t4.. Your doctor may wish to test for free t4. Wish you good health and a healthy baby.
