Pregnant tsh 6.26 doc just gave me levothyroxine 50 mcg. i know it takes a 4 weeks to get into ur system and my doc is very conservative. opinions?

It's all good: Your doc is right to be conservative, especially with your being pregnant! a TSH of 6.26 is just barely hypothyroid, and so you only need a smidge of replacement hormone. This is completely appropriate - just a dab will do you. Your blood test in 4-6 weeks will direct any further dosage adjustment of levo that you may need. Ultimately, we want to normalize your system to get the perfect baby.
