Anti oxidant : Turmeric is hypothesized to have anti oxidant and anti inflammatory qualities and is an ingredient in a lot of ayurvedic medications. It might help in prevention of coronary artery disease and cancer prevention, however there is no data suggesting its use in dm, HTN and acid reflux. It is not used in panic disorder either.
