Plantar fasciitis: You may have plantar fasciitis based on the presentation. Usually, pain is located in the heel, usually, where the heel and the arch merge. First thing in the morning when you step on you foot is very painful and a few steps after that. It may hurt throughout the day as well. See podiatrist. Read about plantar fasciitis and see if symptoms fit. Inserts will help, exercises are helpful.

Exam: Need an examination to diagnose. Could be so many things that it would take up this space. Where is the pain exactly?
