Please ask: Her doctor to consider getting an x-ray of the area of her back that hurts. That is a good first step to see if they are related or just arthritis.

Depends: A primary eye tumor is unlikely to metastasize to the spine, but some cancers, such as breast, can metastasis to the spine, as well as the eye. Without knowing more about your mother's tumor type, it's hard to say.
