Bruising is normal: I am assuming you are getting the injections for faulty valves in the leg veins (resulting in either varicose veins or edema) and they are trying to destroy the veins and get the blood to only go through the deeper veins. The procedure that they do to destroy the veins causes bruising. That is why most people do not do it in the summer. I hope the answer helps, and i hope the procedure works.

Normal: Sclerotherapy is a process and it is not uncommon to have bruising following a treatment. In fact, following sclerotherapy, the veins tend to look worse before they look better. Usually just giving it time to heal will improve things. Some people use arnica both in pill and cream form and feel that this decreases bruising.
