A member asked:

If a 14 year old was trying to get pregnant, and they never did, does that mean they can't because of age, or eggs? or is it just really hard to get?

Dangerous: Likely you know by posing this question, that most doctors are not going to recommend a 14 year be pregnant. 1)she's not physically ready and she puts hers' and her unborn baby's health at risk by getting pregnant; 2)she's not economically able to support a child; and 3)most doctors are worried that she's being coerced or pressured by a male. Hard & dangerous: Higher risk of potentially fatal (you or baby) toxemia of pregnancy, premature delivery, slight increase on Down syndrome birth, all make pregnancy at 14-15 a bad idea. Even after a woman's body reaches full maturity (body+ brain at 22) it can take up to a year to get pregnant with a healthy system. Motherhood is a wonderful goal in life, but should not put you or the baby at risk.
