Very few eggs: After age 43 you ovarian reserve (how many eggs are left) is very, very low and the chances for conception are really poor. You are also at risk for a baby with chromosomal abnormalities. Next year may not work for you at all. If you really want to know ask you ob/gyn to order an amh level which is a hormone that measures you ovarian reserve. If it is <0.5 you chances to have a baby are very low.
