A member asked:

I had a vaginal sono and the dr didn't see any follicles on my ovaries, does this mean that i don't have any eggs left?i'm trying hard to get pregnant

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: An ultrasound cannot always tell whether there are viable eggs left in your ovary. A blood test of fsh and amh (anti-mullerian hormone) on day 2 or 3 of your menstrual cycle would give more information, and tell more than the ultrasound. Good luck!
