ABTA: I understand this is very stressful. There are many patient support groups out there which may help; contact the american brain tumor association. Also ask your/his doctors for referrals for help. I'm sorry to hear of his diagnosis.

Malgnant brain: Tumors are called glioblastoma. Those lesser than that commonly have astroglial origins. Your neurosurgeon should suggest 2 oncologists: a radiation oncologist and a medical oncologist. Listen to their advice and see if you want to journey to chicago or st louis.
